Expertise and Bios

Consistent with today’s professional services world, Morgan Anderson has adopted a virtual business model whereby we have the freedom to add to Morgan Anderson team those senior, experienced experts whom we believe will add value to the assignment team.  The  backgrounds of these colleagues  (as with Arthur Anderson and Lee Anne Morgan below) are those who have served in prior business lives as senior management of major marketers, senior officers of agencies, or partners in management consulting, audit, law, and procurement services firms.  This enables us to deliver services customized to a client’s specific problem and needs and to provide  efficient and effective results for an assignment. On all assignments, Arthur Anderson and Lee Anne Morgan are heavily involved and provide assignment leadership.   The end goal is what Morgan Anderson is known for: professionalism and results-driven and timely services.  We can work behind the scenes as advisors or out front as consultants, and we stand ready, willing, and able to help implement any of our recommendations.
The following are  Co-founder bios, and for each assignment provide the name and bio of other Principals on the Morgan Anderson team:

Lee Anne Morgan

I co-founded Morgan Anderson in 1987 and am currently Managing Director of the firm and lead all client assignments.

My prior history includes media, account management, and business development at Ogilvy & Mather, DDB, Saatchi, and Ketchum before establishing Morgan Anderson.

Early on, I was a performance artist in Cleveland, Ohio, studied acting at the Actor’s Studio in New York, and was a June Taylor Dancer on the Jackie Gleason television show (see my personal Website for more details). Later in life, I refocused my creative efforts on fine art photography, writing and painting. My work resides in the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art and in private collections. I am presently working on a photo-journal book project titled “Hello from Across the Decades”.

My mission at Morgan Anderson is two-fold: to help marketers and their agencies work better together and to achieve better business results for the Brand. I love my work, for it draws upon my deep respect for the needs of clients to create brand wealth, the agencies that serve them in this goal, and our firm’s commitment to deliver impactful results to clients.

My favorite activities outside Morgan Anderson are: creating fine art that stirs something within, appealing to our “better angels” and to make a really good cup of tea for old friends and new acquaintances.

Arthur Anderson

In 1987, I co-founded Morgan Anderson and now serve as Chief Innovation Officer and head of Morgan Anderson International headquartered in Switzerland. I continue to advise on the firm’s benchmarking assets, agency compensation, and incentive performance management as well as innovate new services for Fortune 500 companies.

My prior history includes private law practice in Manhattan with a highly regarded IP firm, co-founder of a private Wall Street investment management firm where I co-founded a full-service discount stock brokerage business, and was general counsel of a large NYSE-listed cable TV multiple systems operator. I attended Brown University (dual chemistry and history degrees) and Yale Law School and was admitted to the NY bar but left law practice to co-found Morgan Anderson Consulting.

Before that, I was a performance musician in Grand Rapids, Michigan, raced sailboats, worked summers at a Lake Michigan marina, and interned at IBM and an Italian company in the Alps. Fine-art early on caught my adult interest and is one reason I shifted from law to advertising consulting.

My chief goal at Morgan Anderson is to help marketers take a disciplined approach to understand, structure, benchmark, and broker contracts and compensation with their agencies of all types, sizes and countries that lead to better business results for the client.

My favorite activities outside Morgan Anderson are adventure travel to remote places such as Nepal, Antarctica and Switzerland, supporting and working with facilities for children in Third World countries, and collecting and writing on art and artists of the Historic Woodstock Art Colony.
