Agency Search, RFP Assessment, and Consolidation

Morgan Anderson provides marketers with independence, objectivity, and a depth of experience with its agency search process. It consists of thirteen milestones, beginning with the development of carefully honed agency selection criteria, agency profiling, and thorough vetting of agency candidates. Our agency screenings are zero-based so we present the most accurate and relevant agency talent resource and data to clients. Built into the process are tools and techniques that clarify and codify agency capabilities and talent, presentation briefings, development of a relevant agency assignment, and objective evaluations and debriefs of final presentations.

We offer our agency services as support behind the scenes to marketing and procurement teams or as lead in the management of the agency RFP and review process.

It is a ‘best practice’ to provide Engagement Start-Up and Transition services to help reduce risks in a new client-agency partnership. Our process begins with an action plan for agency transitioning, establishment of client-agency protocols, delineation of roles and responsibilities, and rules of engagement for the First 100 Days marketer and agency work together.

Agency Benchmarking and Established Knowledge Bases

Through the use of benchmarking, data management and best-practices, we help marketers evaluate and assess the quantitative and qualitative performances and effectiveness of an existing or new agency — across all types, sizes and geographies. Using our U.S. and global databases, we apply the Morgan Anderson methodologies innovated 20+ years ago. Application of benchmarking and best-practices includes agency salaries, overheads and profits, FTE allocations, forward-looking agency economics, scopes of work and staffing plans as well as the establishment of agency performance evaluation programs linking incentive compensation when viable.

Agency Contract and Compensation Audit

We look at a client’s contract and compensation arrangement holistically, both qualitatively and quantitatively. This is a legacy core competency and we are known throughout the industry for the quality and value of work in this area. This includes agency remuneration, agency best-practice contracts, contract and media compliance. We have virtual partners with whom we work on an as needed basis to round out our team with a particular expertise.
